Slot was created in 2022 by the team at TRIMAG. The 210 page book was a one-off KissKissBankBank project. But I hope they do more!
The cover shows Scott Tinley at the unofficial Sprint Triathlon World Championships in Perth, Australia in January 1987. I’ve already done a podcast episode about the race here. It was the last important triathlon before Scott DH aero-bars started being used.
Slot is in French and contains stories and interviews about world triathlon history, and the sport today, from a French perspective. You’ll find pieces on The Big Four, Embrun, Gordon Haller, Nice, Roth, Dan Empfield, Hawaii, Zofingen and Olivier Bernard. It’s amazing!
